I Cant Stress how important Furniture care is in a climate like Colorado’s. Colorado’s Climate is extremely dry, increasingly more in the winter months than any other time of the year. After awhile your furniture will become more fragile, and in most cases uglier than before. But if you always use these techniques, you should be able to keep your furniture from looking like the chair to the left in the picture above.

1. The most important is dust your furniture regularly, every 1-2 weeks and polish or oil, every 2-3 months (Make sure to use the right products according to your furnitures wood type, and finish)
2. its also a really good idea to use a humidifier around the house not only is this good for your health but also good for the health of your furniture, and can prevent it from drying out so quickly. Use humidifiers in moderation you dont need it to be 100% humidity in the house.
3. Also dont forget the importance of coasters, place mats, or anything that can prevent to much liquid from penetrating the furnitures wood. If something spills clean it up quickly.
4. Avoid placing your furniture on, or near any type of vents, including heaters, and or A/C units.
5. Last but not least, keep your furniture out of direct sunlight, from your windows, with help from closing blinds or moving your furniture around occasionally.
